Castello di Strambinello
The Castle of Strambinello is surrounded by a pristine valley and a stream, called Chiusella, that flows at the bottom of it and it’s breathtakingly beautiful at any time of the year.
This is the ideal destination for someone who wants to relax, to be in contact with nature and peaceful surroundings and surprisingly because such a place springs almost magically just a few hundred metres from a busy main road.
The castle offers not only the beauty of the landscape, but the fascination of art and history – here every wall, every corner, every stone tells a story about prosperity and magnificence, about ruin and reconstruction that spans from the Middle Ages to the Baroque era to the present day.
The castle is also the story of its present owner who, thirty years ago, bought it in a state of ruin and realized his dream by restoring it to its ancient splendor.
He worked with tenacity and passion in restoring the building, tastefully choosing period furniture, and has created a luscious garden in harmony with the building and its surroundings.
Today he runs the BB with the help of his wife and his two daughters.
